Happy Halloween

Genie in a Bottle

The highly anticipated "halloween outfit" is up for you all to see. After some rather "interesting" ideas that we tossed around for kaden to dress up as, we decided to put him in his cute silky pants that his Aunt Aileen got him in India, and have him be a "genie." FYI Megan dressed up as a water polo player, and Andrew was an army ninja!

Prayer Requests and Praises

Requests:

1. For housing when we move back to North Vancouver, B.C.

2. To be sensitive to the Lord in ways that we can serve the people whose paths we cross day to day and be intentional in our relationships.

3. To continue to grow and mature in our walks with the Lord.

4. For everything that needs to come together as we prepare to go overseas to the Philippines in fall 2010.

Answers to prayer:

1. We have had many opportunities to share about our heart for missions and are thankful to God for making this possible.

2. We had a great time with the 5th and 6th grade summer blast program this summer. The kids got to hear about missions and the Gospel, and in some ways I feel like Andrew and I learned more from it than they did =)

3. We have had places to stay for the summer in Ojai. We've house sat, stayed with friends, and are grateful for all who have opened up their house to us.

4. We have chosen a field!! The Philippines!! Praise God for His continual faithfulness in leading us.

5. We have had safe travels over the summer so far.
